When Ferdie explained how closely ????dogs, wolves and coyotes are related, my perspective on those jumpy-mouthy shelter dog behaviors shifted. ???? OF COURSE these are not bad dogs in any way, but dogs who are expressing their big feelz with innate behaviors.

    WOWZA ????

If you are working with jumpy-mouthy dogs (in or out of the shelter), it would be great to hear from you on what Ferdie’s saying in this clip.

And if you haven’t met these dogs yet, you likely will at some point in your career. Be sure to check out ▶this discussion◀, where Ferdie shares how he and his team helped Chewy eliminate these stress behaviors and become more adoptable in just a few months.

This is a very interesting approach. I often wonder about this with excessive barkers. They are becoming loud and obnoxious because they are trying to tell you somthing that they need but often times we just dont listen? Hmmm very interesting ????

Right! “He’s not giving you a hard time, he’s having a hard time!”
