This is a super cute picture, thank you for sharing it. What really put a smile on my face though, is Violet’s relaxed and happy smile! While these set-up photo-ops make people very happy, many of these party pictures show stressed-out dogs. I know a trainer who has created a Conditioned Emotional Response from her dog seeing a telephone pointed toward at them; of course, the dog always looks happy in pictures! Did you do anything special to bring that smile to Violet’s face in her birthday picture?

Oh good point! No she has such a good temperament, always happy and is up for anything. It was a very quick photo shoot! But I do see where putting on a party hat could stress a dog out. My biggest challenge with her is jumping. She is super excited to see anyone! We are working on that.
