@PawstoConsider Laurie, thanks for bringing that other video back into the conversation. And YES – ACDs are really intense. I mean, they are 35-40lbs and they can back down a bull… so they are bred to be intense and very, very driven. That said, I agree that the dog in that video is in a state of high arousal. Good call on the body language. Since they are primed for paying attention to movement, I wondered if perhaps the water’s movement stops when he stops digging, so he digs to keep the movement happening, which is exciting? What do you think?
