It’s so interesting to see in a domestic dog that has literally no need for “storing things away for a rainy day”… Years ago I tested a little shelter dog with a 5 treat test (similar to our Find the Value game) and she went straight down the row, eating all the high value stuff, skipping over the dry biscuit, only to snatch it up at the end and run to the other side of the yard and bury it in the gravel. The whole event took about 15 seconds. We named her Speedy. ????
