Notice a theme everyone: As much as you can, give dogs space when they greet – whether that means loose leashes or room to move – space is a big difference maker.
AND – Look for space in their interaction. Even short pauses or a few inches of “forcefield” space given during interactions can tell you the difference between friendly/playful and conflict or trouble.
