There have been a lot of great observations made here already, so I’m going to focus in on what I think was your key question @Juli

I think you mean at the very end of the video from about 1:18-1:21?
That is a really interesting 3 seconds! After you watch that a few times (looking at each dog, one at a time as @Catherine suggested), a great way to observe that little window of time more closely is to pause the video and start dragging the circle on the timeline one frame at a time to see all the “snapshots” captured. All three of the dogs suddenly seem to execute some “new ideas” at the same time in that moment. Your dog, the yellow lab, definitely looks like he was about to engage in more “provocative” behavior. That doesn’t always mean he had a negative intention. Different dogs have different ways to instigate physical “games” or play. But clearly you were right on top of it and didn’t want to allow anything that could upset the other dogs – very courteous and cool of you!
Watch the other two dogs, too. There’s some neat stuff there between all three. What do you guys see?
