    I’ll add to this – using a distinct word can be even easier for most pet parents than trying to get them to change to a distinct tone. Trainers are great at changing tone, but some people can’t (or won’t) easily change their tone. Plus, pet parents will often overuse the word “Come” in non-training situations and water down the value of the cue.
    So, if you can pick a cue that is unique (that they wouldn’t naturally use in other casual situations like in the house) then you can really take advantage of the idea you are proposing here.
    One example I like is “Here! Here!” which I use with my dogs. But you can also use something like “Run! Run!” or whatever you and the client like. It’s helpful to have more than one syllable. Dogs respond better to that rhythm when it comes to attention-getting, action-initiation cues.
