A little perspective on Morgan girl here. She is a 3.5 year old GSD, non-working line, and not food motivated, nor into toys. She has been my constant puzzle since I brought her home at 3 months old. So, you can imagine how I always keep finding ways to motivate, and mix them up with some play, mostly play for this one as she really won’t work. I had wanted to do obedience early on, but she would just stare at me when we’d try to train in class (all sorts of classes we tried).
So I shifted my approach to play, and last year I realized how much faster with snow games. Here is a video I did earlier before it got dark. I basically use the snow as I would with food or toys. I just raise energy with some theatrics and sound effects. Take a look and let me know if you have questions.
