So many great points here, @DoggoneSpecial Amy! I love that you pointed out Ferdie’s recommendation to have empathy – it goes a long way toward helping dogs and people. And – a simple reminder too – just like you remember his comment to you, you may make a comment to a client that really sticks with them in the same way! This is where empathy really matters – just pointing this out to them –
I realize my client and her family are hard working people with limited resources. Even though so, they have been kind and generous enough to volunteer to foster a dog, a pittie mix with behavioral issues, no less. I try to keep this mind when they don’t seem to be what appears to me at times “trying”. – Amy S.
