Looking through my archives, I stumbled on this old (and blurry) photo which I think gives a better view of a soft submissive grin. I’ve always thought of submissive grin as being an appeasement gesture, but with an affilitative twist. In other words, it’s *friendly*. But in the rich conversation I had with @David , I’ve begun to think of it as having other functions, including space-increasing. I think we’re seeing that in the above video.
Does anyone else have photos or video of “Grinning” that we can look at and discuss?
