I was glad to read your update, telling us that TimTam had come through her treatment and that there hadn’t seemed to have been any deterioration in your dogs’ relationship!
I too live with a “reactive dog” (though in truth I struggle with using this sort of label and continue to look for different ways to refer to dogs with those sort of cluster behaviors) and would be interested in learning what training you were doing with her during her convalescent to build her focus and bring down her reactivity.
I’m thinking that the sort of training you might have been doing during that time could well be very helpful to clients who I have suggested take fewer walks with their dogs and spend more time in their homes and yards so as to limit their dog’s exposure to triggers.
