I can see how making session follow-up notes simpler, and asking the clients to take more responsibility by keeping their own notes as well, would take less of the trainer’s time and thereby allow them to help more people and dogs (and also protect themselves as valuable resources).
I admit to struggling with that shift from very personalized notes but do feel the need to do so.
Do you invest different amounts of time, creating different sorts of client notes, depending on if the client is doing basic training as opposed to if they are working on behavior modification?
