@Catherine I agree that the flirt pole is an excellent training tool! I especially like to use the it to work on impulse control in a stay and build a “blast off” behavior when released from a stay. This is great for agility! You want the dog to have impulse control (so that they don’t break their stay) and then launch to full speed when you release them! So much fun!
I also encourage physically challenged people to use the flirt pole to burn their dog’s energy without exhausting the person!
