Some dogs seem to enjoy physical contact more than others, just like people. My Moon Dog, a long-time Delta Pet Partner Therapy Dog, was one of those. She had a particular contact behavior that she offered during interactions with both people and dogs, we called it the Heavy Chin and put it on cue for use during our Animal Assisted Therapy work.
She was such a gentle soul!
