Just about the only thing you can say that’s positive about what Brindle is doing is that he doesn’t appear to be biting with skin breaking force. But this is certainly not an interaction that you would want to allow again for any length of time. As you’ve all noted, it’s harmful to both dogs (see Jen Z’s earlier astute comment about how this is harmful to Brindle as well: “the lack of communication skills could easily lead to a serious conflict and injury. That conflict could also cause a shift in the Brindle’s emotion of how he now feels about other dogs, either becoming fearful or aggressive.”)
