Hello… wanted to provide my quick thoughts on how Digging Dogs is different that I like. The big difference and positive for me is that this is an engaging and authentic community. I love the exchanges among members, and that that there are varied topics, both professional and just for fun. It’s a nice way to bond and connect with like-minded individuals.
It’s also a great way for me to learn about things in the dog training world, that I don’t know or am not aware of. I’m early in my training career, and so as the saying goes, “you don’t know what you don’t know”. With so many smart and wise people sharing their experiences, it’s really opened my breadth of knowledge that I can then translate to my training experience.
This is site is different for me in that the other resources I go to for information are one way, meaning there isn’t a dialogue or back and forth. It’s either a website, a facebook page, an instagram post, and while I could leave a comment or question, I tend to just “receive the information” and interpret on my own.
