It’s good you are having some success with her, @dogmama ! Thanks for the update. The shell game is a very good one. You could also try a snuffle mat – have you heard of those? – for when you want her to search for the treat but not have to interact with her as much. I love a packed Kong for the same reason – takes them awhile to eat it! Chewing is a great stress relief for dogs, too.
For when you want to interact, you can teach her to hold still while you touch your hand to various body parts by name. Start by clicking and treating for stillness as you bring your hand toward her. If she’s wiggling, just wait with your hand frozen in place. You can “shape” her toward more stillness.
