I love doggone good pouches too! I use a balance harness for Eli but I have heard very good things about the “perfect” fit harness – I think you get them at Clean Run as they are the North American distributor. I also love the long lines by White Pine outfitters. They are super strong, come in great colors and although they aren’t dirt proof, you can throw them in the wash and they come out great. I’ve had several for years and they feel good in your hands. The brass clip is very well made.
I’m really hoping to try out this fancy treat pouch called voila soon. They are out of stock right now and quite expensive anyway but they look fantastic.
For those who really need it, I’ve also found an alternative to a gentle leader called a canine bridle. Anecdotally on the one dog I’ve tried it on, it seemed to be more easily acclimated than a gentle leader. It works differently although with the same idea. “K-9 Bridle” they also just started distributing in the US.
