1. Be Passionate – Love what you do, let it show.

2. Be Friendly and Supportive – Give each other confidence. Share positive feedback and kind words. Condescending comments or “gotcha” will have no place here.
3. Challenge Yourself to Learn and Grow – Our mission is building knowledge and skills together.
4. Participate – Share your ideas and experiences, from writing to video. Never be afraid to give a “wrong” answer; we only learn by trying new concepts and practicing new skills.
5. Be Open-Minded – Seek first to understand, then to be understood. Be empathic and non-judgmental.
6. Be Caring – Help dogs, help people. Use a LIMA approach in training and behavior solutions.
7. Get Hands-On with Dogs – Learning by doing is the most powerful way to develop your skills

These rules are in place to create the best possible experience for all members of our community. We want everyone to have an enjoyable and safe experience while working on their learning goals.

• Follow Our Guiding Principles!
• Be Respectful and Professional. It’s okay to discuss and debate, but be thoughtful and caring in the way you communicate. Do not use rude, offensive or hurtful language of any kind. If you experience inappropriate or hurtful dialogues, notify an administrator.
• Keep All Group Content Private. In order to benefit from the power of sharing in our community, we must all trust each other to keep community content private. Respect the work and privacy of others. Do not screenshot, copy, download, or share any content from our group and use it or post it anywhere else. The only exception is when collaborative work has been created for the purpose of sharing during a workshop (explicit permission will be given to the group in that case and the document itself will have a clear designation that this is for sharing.)
• Don’t Market Your Biz. We are enthusiastic about your success, but this is not the place to promote your business or product. Do not post any kind of advertising, marketing, promotion, or solicitation referencing any other business or community.
• CATCH Coursework and Student Support are Separate. Reach out to your Program Director or the CATCH Student Support Team with questions related to course content or processes. This community is completely separate from coursework and course outcomes.
• Stay on Topic. In order to foster great learning discussions, it is key that we dialogue about the topics being presented by the community leaders and building on them. Keep the flow going and don’t bring up outside topics. For example, this is definitely not the place to discuss things you might see in the news outside of the dog-world. We are focused on learning about all-things-dog!
