For those new to our community and to this concept of reading body language with a simple acronym, I decided to put all our previous posts in one easy place. ???? The acronym helps you remember where to look and can be a wonderful, easy teaching tool for clients.

BEET stands for Body, Expression, Ears & Tail. It serves as a reminder to check in to these 4 keys when reading a dog’s signals.
Body – Tension, Orientation, Position

Thank you for posting this. I am not always confident about reading dog body language.

I need help with this body language. Top dog 7-8 month old Abby rescue (visiting our house). Lower dog is my dream dog Dakota. She 10 years old & helps rescue dogs. I’m confused with Abby’s body language. Just having fun with Body Language of Dogs.

omd – silly pups! Did Abby walk over Dakota or did Dakota scoop Abby up? I could see it both ways. You are so lucky they both get along so well. Love this share. Thanks, @Denise
