David Invite: We Want You in the DD Advisory Group! One Year Anniversary :)
Hi Everyone! Time to talk about the future of Digging Dogs with YOU. We started DD as a small Slack group with 30 founding members (you know who you are ????). Here we are one year later with 650 in our own custom community app and you guys rock. ????????
????We are now forming an Advisory Group so we can discuss what you like, what you love, what we can improve, and what you wish for if you could have anything here in our community. ????Catherine and I will lead a live group via Zoom but we’ll also bring the conversation right here into DD so we can simply post and comment to chat about this. Would you like to share your thoughts in our Advisory Group? If so, just comment on this post with the phrase “count me in” and we will contact you soon to officially invite you, starting with the live event. This is CRAZY & WONDERFUL! ???? We had so many great starting discussions in that intimate group and in the bigger one that followed… and look how many of us made the move and continue to participate, learn and motivate each other, here.
Thank you to each and every one of our active members – to grow from 30 to over 650 in a year is just incredible!
And … can I give a shout out to every one of you who has helped to maintain our caring and friendly culture!? You all are awesome
We are a truly special place on the internet and I’m thankful for you, every day.

A special shout out and a GIANT THANK YOU!! to the Digging Dogs members who joined us in our first Advisory Group meeting yesterday. We had a super turn out with lots of great brainstorming. We have emailed the second group of members who will be joining us for tomorrow’s meeting – check your email!
It’s also not too late to join if you are willing to come in and share opinions and suggestions about what’s happening in our community and how we can make it better. Tag me in a reply here with “Pick me!” and I’ll send out an invitation by email. The meeting is tomorrow, Wed 25th at 5pm Eastern.

It was nice to see you guys on line! I wish I could join the group on the 25th, but I have a work meeting.
It would be so amazing if members (other trainers) could share their tips and ideas for group classes. Games and new learning activities would be so wonderful and helpful. My group class participants are coming in to class pretty well-versed in dog training (watching great trainers on YouTube) and I feel like I need to up my training game! 🙂
