    Hi!

Just wondering about this…I’ve heard about it being possible to screen dogs for vision problems, but I know nothing of where to go out the process. How expensive is it, and can a dog get corrective vision goggles? I know “Doggles” exist, and you can train pups to accept them. Just curious. I have a younger dog clients whom I suspect of not seeing well and not sure this would be possible before I suggest!

    Thank you so much!

    Hi Paula,

There are veterinary opthamologists who specialize in eye diagnoses. I don’t know how expensive it is, but perhaps you can use this search to find your nearest one and give them a call? Your state’s veterinary school may also do opthamology at a different price. Reputable breeders often have their dogs certified (some do it annually!) for absence of vision issues, especially in breeds prone to problems (like Collies). I hope that helps answer your question! @bernerlabreclectus
