    I want to share my excitement about my students Bigbee and Pearl! I was asked to help these two Great Pyrenees with greetings in the home and reactions to surprises. It was mentioned that Bigbee also has a lot of trouble at the vet and needs to be medicated for handling. The owners are awesome and as we come to a close with this package of visits, they are signing on for more to work on cooperative care for the vet. This is a photo from a 15 minute demo I did for the owners to show them the general process. Not only did Bigbee learn to get on the mat for “exam” at lightening speed, he let me examine his ears!!!!! His ears are his biggest problem at the vet because he has a history of painful ear infections. I can’t wait to keep moving forward with these two gorgeous dogs! They are so smart- according to his mom, Bigbee is now offering a sit and a down on every mat he can find ???? I’d love to hear from anyone who incorporates cooperative care into their puppy packages or offers it as it’s own specialty!

    @LisaOMy

    Congratulations on your successes with them! The family is lucky to have you helping them!

    It is genuinely rewarding when we see all the work pay off that the dogs, pet parents and, we as trainers do! Thanks for sharing!
