Oh my goodness, I loved watching that @jenz !
I suspect the vocalizations are partly motivated by excitement but also motivated by an expression of “MINE.” One of my agoutis used to make similar sounds when she possessed a prize bit of food and a potential competitor for that goodie was nearby. She didn’t make that sound with the same food if a person wasn’t close.-

I have watched it about 30 times- I keep smiling watching her tumble over with it! She sounds like a video game or pinball machine! I think the rehabber mentioned she is food possessive and keeps her distance when she has food. She is a resource guarder! ????????
