Therefore, dogs learn all kinds of things as a result of what’s motivating for them in a particular environment, and when we’re not looking! Often the most impressive behaviors are learned without any training by a human at all, and sometimes with huge payoff for the dogs.

Yes, my dog has learned to call me. If he is upstairs and I’m downstairs he will bark and I will run upstairs.
