FINALS – What’s Your Dog’s Vote? Petting or Treats?
VOTE HERE! We’ve got a lot of sweet and social, food loving dogs in this group! Getting Petted and Food Treats advanced to the finals over the weekend. Now… which will it be?
Let’s say there’s a handful of yummy chicken, liver, cheese or bacon just a few feet away, being held by a friend… given free choice in that scenario, would your dog prefer to be petted by you? Or would they enjoy the snack and “be right back?” I sure know what Joy would choose, and it’s humbling. ????
What if the friend (and the yummy treats) were further away? Does that matter? Let’s discuss!

I think it would be a toss up depending on hungry Balto was. He can be very finiky about his treats. It could also depend on how well the dog is trained.
