Frisbee Friday (on Wednesday)!!
Taking advantage of the 46 degree day to get Kaiden outside with extra enrichment! (he has food enrichment 2x daily indoors)
We have been going for 30-60 minute car rides 2-3 a week just to get out, stop for a sniff, mark a few places and hop back in the car!
What is everyone else up to during the colder weather for enrichment?

I’m giving the dogs plenty of time to scavenge rabbit poop in the yard – does that count?! Just kidding, I actually just got them some new elk antlers to chew – great product if you haven’t discovered these! Long lasting, don’t smell. You can see they are very satisfied this eve.

@David How cute are your dogs? I’ve NEVER had two dogs who would seek each other out like this, and especially not with a high value chew in the midst. This warms my heart. Good dogs!

It is CRAZY how much she loves him. She cuddles into him all the time. I’m sure I’ll share other photos in the future because my heart sings whenever I see it. She is 13 and has been an only dog for a long time before he came (he is 2.5 now). And she does not like all dogs, not even close. I spent a lot of time working on harmonizing them when he was a pup, but I suspect that was just one factor.

I feel like you’re living the idealized version of what most people want, when they add a second (or third) dog to the family. It’s just lovely to see. Thanks for sharing this photo.

“Kaiden: “Why would you ever throw this thing when you can slather it with food?” These are his exact thoughts, for sure! Peanut butter, frozen with Cheerios, jerky bits, blueberries etc.! Now, there may be a Border Collie or Retriever that could possibly disagree with Kaiden, but…..

OMD @Jenz – we should have Frisbee Fridays every week. lol – How many different ways can we use a frisbee for enrichment! I’ll admit, I have not seen this creative use before! Kaiden is one lucky dog!
Joy and I are staying on friends’ property and she’s getting daily doses of goat, sheep, rabbit, horse, deer and who knows what other poop. Must be why her coat is so shiny these days! ????
