Hello from North Carolina!
Heyloo everybody Jen here and I’m unbelievable excited to be part of a community that loves chatting about dogs as much as I do! Maybe I can funnel it in here so I get less side glances at home for all my dog commentary LOL.
Little background on me-
I started with the CATCH academy in May 2021 after spending the past 20 years doing behavior mods with kids in a psychiatric hospital. It all clicked and I knew this was my next career; quit my job, moved to NC from NY in October and started my mentorship. I just graduated CATCH this month and am running the puppy primary and adolescent day training program under my mentor/now boss!
I’m mommy to two retired greyhounds Sanuk (brindle) and Playa (red/tripawd). My girls are the fire in my belly to never stop learning and trying new things in this dog strong world. I’m eager to expand my knowledge and perspective within this group as well as hopefully offer insight I may have!

Hello Jen and WELCOME! Congratulations on finishing CATCH and getting a job with your mentor. That’s fantastic. I giggled at your comment to “funnel it in here” so you get “less side glances at home for all my dog commentary” – ???? The struggle is real. And here at DD we gladly welcome all your commentary and posts, and photos and video and, and, and! Please keep it coming! Your greyhounds are just lovely – and how lucky they are, to have landed with you. Thanks for jumping in and introducing yourself!
