Hello from NY! (CATCH graduate)
My name is Megan, I live in NY with my personal dog Curlie, and currently Guiding Eyes for the Blind pup on program Rossi who is a 9 month old lab. I had gone through the Basic Pro course with CATCH several years ago, I now have a small private training business and I am a volunteer puppy raiser with Guiding Eyes!

Hi Megan! So glad you are here. I got my start raising pups for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Such a worthy volunteer gig. Thanks for all you do! Can’t wait to learn more about your work. I’m already enjoying your participation in Digging Dogs! Welcome!

That’s wonderful! It had been an amazing experience. Rossi is my 5th dog with GEB. I have a retired guide, 2 working guides and one who ended up with CT police 🙂 I’m excited to get involved here! I’m always looking to learn and expand my knowledge to grow my clientele ☺️

My thanks to both of you @Mbanf and @Catherine for the volunteer work you do! Having experienced trainers supporting their communities like this makes a world of difference!
While I am no longer volunteering regularly at an animal shelter, at I stay involved as volunteer serving my community doing some pro-bono work for a nonprofit which provides certified trainer support to shelter and rescue dogs in foster care.
