Hey y’all!
My name is Ez, and I’m a student with CATCH Canine Trainers Academy. I’m an aspiring professional dog trainer with a concentration in service dog training.
I have been training with my personal rescue dog for the last seven years. His name is Eddie, and he’s a Jack Russel, Italian Greyhound, Chihuahua , Chinese crested mix! He’s a very unique dog with a big personality!
Looking forward to meeting you all virtually!

Welcome @Ez_R and Eddie! Eddie is such a cool mix ????! Love it. ???? ????
-
@Ez_R Eddie is adorable. I can see the Chinese Crested in there. They are very smart dogs as are the Jacks, of course. I bet you have your hands full at times! He looks like the type of dog who would be mischievous and then be so fast you couldn’t catch him. lol

Usually no one can tell he’s got it in him!! He’s totally bald on his belly and grew lots of spots on his skin so I used deductive reasoning haha. He has a ton of energy for sure!! He’s going on 8 years old now so he’s slowed down a bit, but he can go from napping soundly to running around the park in the blink of an eye. His recall has become to much better over the years, but we’re still working on his selective hearing ????

Hello!
Humbled to be here!
My name is Keiko and I am a Master Class student. I am a LVT however due to burnout left the clinic world years ago. I currently still work within the veterinary industry. I have always been fascinated by dog behavior, cooperative care, and the power of play. For the past year I have been shadowing private cases with a behaviorist and assisting with classes. I still do not know what my future holds and for now I am expanding my knowledge to help empower my own dogs and enjoying giving back to others.
I am currently blessed with three dogs: Charlotte 15yo heeler/spaniel, Emi 4yo blue heeler, Mikan 1.5yo pembroke corgi.
Thank you again for the add!

Welcome @Keiko , Charlotte, Emi and Mikan! ???????? ???? ???? Your pups are gorgeous! ????

Hello @Keiko, Welcome! Your pups are too precious! I too am transplanting myself from the human medical field into dog training. I was a medical assistant for 40 yrs before I retired and my Catch studies are giving me a new much needed enthusiasm for my “golden years”.
-
@Keiko We’re glad you are here! Your dogs are all gorgeous, of course. Charlotte’s ears are adorable.
I totally understand the burnout thing. I hope you are able to find your joy again with this season of hitting “refresh” on your dog career options. We’re glad you are here!

Hi Everyone!
I am really happy to be apart of this group! I am currently a student in the Masters Class and looking forward to completing the program! I Have always loved animals and especially dogs, but it wasn’t until I got the first dog of my own, Poseidon, about 7.5 years ago did I really start taking dog training seriously. This year Poseidon was been invited to the AKC Rally National Championship (unfortunately cannot go) and I am so proud of him and I guess myself for achieving this!
Poseidon is a Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua mix (with some Rat Terrier, Shih Tzu and Cocker Spaniel).
I also have another dog named Gremlin and we did an Embark DNA test on her so I know what she is, but I was thinking about posting under the Breed Discovery section to see if anyone can guess her breeds! That being said, we did adopt her as a Mini Australian Shepherd Mix….lol
Anyway, I am glad to be here! ????
