A Lovely, thoughtful and holistic approach to learning about and developing Balance with our dogs. As well as flexibility and training in life. Using practices of awareness, and learning. Paired with understanding genetics. Kelsey has taken the time to share with us her what id like to call, a ‘flow’ approach to understanding and developing healthy well adjusted relationships with our dogs; As well as happy healthy Doggos. This was a fabulous and well thought our presentation; I am grateful for her time spent and information shared during this Hound table. Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen and everyone who showed for the presentation.

It was great “meeting” you there, @Breathingsmiles47 ! I agree with your takeaways – such a phenomenal approach to meeting each dog’s needs in specific ways. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I agree, @Breathingsmiles47 ! What a fabulous talk! I’m glad I didn’t miss it. The SEED approach is a new way of thinking for me, as a trainer, and demystifies “the dog”. I’m definitely shouting a HUGE THANK YOU to Kelsey!

Not to mention the application of the SEED approach in our day to day lives as humans. At least from my experience, helping people understand how to have good relationships with their dogs, also means creating a base of awareness and balance within themselves.

Yes, this is a great point! I especially had an “ah-ha” moment when she was discussing the downtime portion of SEED. Absolutely applies to both dogs and humans! What a great presentation.

I think downtime is usually completely overlooked. I love what Kelsey said about it being part of the balance. We, as doers, achievers and humans can learn so much about cultivating our own SEED balance!

YES! The emphasis on balance is super important -for both ends of a leash!

Kelsey’s acronym is so helpful. I’m looking forward to getting a few highlight clips up for those who missed it – look for them before the weekend!
