Mama Waddles and Puppy Heartbeats – Pupdate!
Yesterday was day 50/63 of Bliss’ pregnancy. I shot a short video of Bliss’ movement… you may not notice it if you aren’t used to seeing how she moves, but to me, her waddling is no less obvious than a duck’s! ???? Can you see the bulge in her belly? I’ll drop a video of earlier for comparison in the comments.
But the most exciting news is: last night I heard a puppy’s heartbeats with my stethoscope! ???? I was so excited I may have squealed, which triggered Bliss to get excited and smother me with kisses… haha! I may have been crying, too ???? … it was chaotic. Then I couldn’t find the heartbeats a second time… puppy shifted in all the fuss. I’ll try again tonight!
It’s fun to know there’s at least one live puppy in there! ???? It’s getting very real over here!
We go for puppy count x-ray on Monday…. anyone want to start guessing how many she has? Normal Aussie litters are 4 to 10. Honestly, 3 or 4 would be FINE with me! ????

I had to go back to February to find a video of Bliss where she’s not completely upstaged by her little sis, and even here, Magic’s so adorable it’s hard to watch Bliss’ movement! Anyway, trust me, she’s plump and her neat little abdominal “tuck up” is long gone. ???? (Bliss has the brighter copper on her face & feet. Magic has the wide white ruff.)

I’m so excited! Today’s the day. I’ve gotten to feel a puppy rollin’ around in there… it’s amazing!
She’s blimping out; even the past few days I can see a difference. Can’t wait to find out how many we are having… I’ve told her 3 or 4 is just fine. lol
