I’ve shown her off with her siblings before, but I caught a pic yesterday to make you smile…This is Zsa Zsa (14 years old). She is a “Royal Highness” in every way, according to her owner ????…however, with me, she is super affectionate and such a cutie.

FYI: this poor girl recently had a mass removed from her chest (benign, TG) and all her teeth had to be extracted, due to severe decay. She can only eat wet food now and her beloved carrot slices have to be cooked now (their owner’s secret treat for their longevity). She has had a lot to overcome in a few short months (both done in March), but I am so proud of her.

She has always enjoyed posing and has a lovely profile and NEVER used to let her tongue hang out, but I think she’s showing her pride as a senior citizen! Oh, and sometimes, she forgets that she can’t eat the regular carrot slices and sneaks one from her older siblings and gums it to death! Too cute. (Don’t worry, when she drops it, I offer her a cooked one instead).

For all you senior doggie lovers, hope this made you grin, and maybe stick your tongue out, too!????

So adorable! I love the idea of cooked carrots! That is so smart! I love her name too. Fits the photo!

What a cutie pie! ???? And what a pretty girl! ❤️

My horse does the same thing to her tongue (we think it’s because she had teeth that were waaay to long and sharp. The teeth are better now ????. Now she does it for treats or to make fun of me ???? lol).

Honestly though! I will have my back turned just enough to were she thinks I’m not looking, then bam! She sticks her tongue out at me. But she stops as soon as I turn around. ???? It’s become a little game between us. ❤️

Oh my, what a sweetie! I think it’s adorable when dogs let their tongues express what we all wish we could. ????

Do any of you remember the Jack Russell terrier on the sitcom, “Frasier”? Eddie (I think “he” was actually a “she” at one point in casting often stuck out the tongue and every time I would laugh at how sweet he looked. Such an expression, sometimes like, “Do you see (audience) what they ask me to do?!”

Obviously, he didn’t do it all the time. Here are some cute photos.

Me, too! I simply think the comedic timing that those dogs, Moose and Enzo (dog-actors) had was priceless. Hoping the training was done positively. It must’ve been mid-1990’s, so not sure what methods were used then.
