My first experience working a rally dog
Thought you’d all find this interesting. I’m not super interested in doing sports related dog trainings, However, at my job they taught me how to do a few. This is Baron. He was a former rally dog, who won a lot apparently. I think he’s about 4 1/2 years old now. He and his owner had been in a really bad car accident and he was out of rally for a long time. While at daycare, they paid for a training-add-on to refresh him for an upcoming tournament. Anyway, I have been taught how to do some basic rally but never worked with him before. These are a few short clips of my first day with him. Forgive me, as I’m a bit rusty in the beginning, as I get used to how he works, but you see he loves it.

I also forgot to note that he is NOT a food motivated dog. I actually have never worked a dog that will not take food. As you see he prefers to play with balls. So I made that work for me.

These are really fun, @ruthabigailparadisepaws ! well done using play as a reinforcer. It’s easy to see he LOVES working with you!
