Raven getting bucked off of a horse
Inspired by the body language discussion here which somehow has progressed to a Raven discussion ???? – I’ll jump in and post this great clip from pro trainer Virginia Dare in which she snagged a Raven getting bucked off by a horse. Animals are awesome. And Ravens are really, really cheeky!

That’s funny, @jenz! I have a friend who trains horses, a donkey and free-flying cockatoos. She has a number of tricks that her horse and birds do together. One is where the horse holds a hoop in her mouth while the birds fly through and land on the woman’s arm. All clicker trained. Very fun stuff!

LOL! @Jenz – my mind went in a similar direction about consent-training related handling and grooming.
But seriously, there is suite of interesting equine communication signals going on here that I’m thinking were completely lost on the raven.
