  Ears can reveal attention ???? and emotion ????

  Even in drop/flap and hound style ears, there are amazing muscles at the base of each ear, which allow the dog to tune in to specific interests… or demonstrate BIG Feelz in just their ears!

  Of course, we know that any photo is just a moment in time… and that we want to look at the WHOLE DOG for confirmation of our interpretation. That said, it all starts with OBSERVATION – being able to see the changes in a variety of ear types.

  Eyes looking at camera, whiskers forward? and lean back. This pup looks like it doesn’t want its picture taken.

    Are you speaking about the chihuahua photo? I agree – this looks like defensive aggression to me. Nice work!
