    This week, I’m posting a bunch of ????video clips from the LIVE HoundTable last week. I’m jumping ahead on this one to provide more insight on a discussion we’re having in this post.

    ????Dogs have fewer facial muscles than humans and it can be difficult to read the subtle signals they show us in their faces, but once you learn to see them, ????you can get faster at interpreting them.

    I’m jumping ahead to one of the last BEET: Expression examples I gave in the webinar, because this is such a similar case to the earlier post linked above.

    Watch this clip and look at the differences in these two hounds…. can you see it?

    @catherine Very cool! It was harder for me to see the hard eye because one had more white than the other. ???? Thank you for sharing this! ???? I can’t wait to see the other clips ????

      Yes, it can be harder to see the hard eye with a lot of floppy skin.

      The key is to look for the chevrons above and below the eye. They are almost always there when a dog is giving that “back it up, buddy” look.
