Love this! Great point, “cute” isn’t quite the right word for a herding breed… maybe up until, what… 12 weeks of age? ????
I can tell you right now I once had a Malinois pup from working lines in my care, during an off-site “sleepaway” training workshop, for a few weeks, and cute was never the right word. Dynamic, beautiful, intense, responsive, malligator – those all fit, but cute, nah!

I’d revise that… “cute” stops when very intentional bitey behavior starts… say, well,… the second they come home, for sure. haha

That said, I’d take a 12-week old Aussie any day, over some12 week old terriers… talk about serious little working dogs! ALL BITE. And not even a herder, so they don’t actually CARE WHAT YOU THINK.

Definitely having a ball! I wish I could have gotten video of Joy (my older one) quick-succession biting the ball, which she does when she’s super aroused. bitebitebitebitebite so fast you can hardly count it. Crazy girl! (and I adore her! ????)
