Just wanted to share…while I don’t have dogs off my own anymore, I occasionally privately board a client dog at my home. This is my dear Dane friend, Maisie, whom I’ve known since she was 10 weeks old. She’s a delight. She does have some reactivity issues, but she’s doing alright.

She just got dropped off an hour ago. I’ve already walked her and she’s played and now we are just being couch-buddies. I do have to leave in a couple of hours to go train a dog.

    Here’s some pics! Enjoy.

Ha! She IS a horse, you’re so right. Yes, it’s a good relationship, I think. She’s about 17 months old now, not even 2. Gets bigger and more beautiful each time I see her. ????

She’s clearly so chill at your house. What a lovely relationship! Enjoy her!

I am enjoying her, for sure. Thankfully, I have a spare queen-sized mattress in the other room, along with a twin-sized daybed. She slept most of the night on the daybed, and only this morning around 5 am did she crawl into bed to cuddle. ????

She takes up a lot of bed. I never co-slept with my own dogs, but so many people do…I try to keep everything as “normal” as possible for the dogs that stay with us.

I love how you keep her routine as normal as possible for her. Even sharing almost all of your bed;)
