  • Video: Bulldog Part 2 – 10 Seconds of What? Body Language Breakdown Part 6

????This is just 10 seconds and not a lot of big signals from Bulldog – or are there? Maybe inaction tells us more than one might think! What do you see from Bulldog in these 10 seconds?

    • Observe just the Bulldog.
    • Choose a range of 3 seconds to that you are going to focus on.
    • For those 3 seconds, list the details for any body language or behavior you see in Bulldog.
    • Time stamp your list just by writing the “second” you saw it in front of your observations.

To see examples of the previous posts:
Brindle part 4 is here. Bulldog part 1 is here.

Move ahead to Bulldog part 3 here.

For now, try to focus on just observation (without guessing what’s going on, we’re going to cover that in a later post soon). Every member that shares their observations will have their name included in our final writeup

We want to know what you see. Comment below! ????

All of you guys above have made great observations so far and got a shout out in the DD newsletter today. Thank you.

0-3 : stops the licking and moves to side and looks up, ears back and mouth closed

3-6: turns head left and right and ears up and (looks like) A sniff up in the air

6-9 : head down, ears back and walks away from Brindle and turns head left and then right

10 sec- looks up at owner – ears remain up.

Way to get this one started @denny – and I like how you’re noticing the look at the owner – I agree that is relevant.

    1. body parallel to Brindle and still, ears appear rotated or back, head and neck turned toward brindle genital area, mouth closed. head and neck then move to face down then forward as sneeze type noise is heard, ears shift forward, eyes seem to blink once. Front legs side step to right, away from brindle

    2. body aligned parallel to brindle and still, face and eyes face forward (away from Brindle), ears appear to shift forward, mouth closed

3.Body in same position as above, head and neck turn slightly right as Brindle passes in front and then turns back left as Brindle moves to right side. mouth closed, ears appears to lower a bit in a rotated or back position.

1 sec – stops sniffing brindle, orients towards camera/videographer

2 sec – front legs move from close together to wider apart

3 sec – eyes close as brindle brushes against his head

5 sec – takes a step forward and his head lowers

6 sec – licks his lips

8 sec – makes a grunt type sound, mouth opens slightly

8 sec – ears appear back; bulldog stops moving and orients back to camera/videographer
