Really great suggestion about using a food puzzle rather than food from a bowl! Agreed on this – and I was thinking similarly about ways the owner can engage Marshee from her bedside. Clicker training (with any marker; a button clicker even is too much for some elderly) might be an option, even if it were super simple. May brighten up the woman’s day as well to have an easy game to play with her companion.
