    Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy is an interesting question here, @Chris I definitely have seen some caregivers worry too much about their dogs – but actually to create symptoms that don’t exist? I think a veterinary discussion group would be a great place to ask this. I bet they’ve seen it; though I don’t know if anyone has done research on this.
