<p>It is difficult to get much information about these pups with the limited ability to see their body language. The hands and equipment are restricting their signals. </p>

<p>I don&#8217;t use a bucket, but my dogs recall to me getting out the Dremel kit. They shove to be first, lie down in front of me and hold up their first paw.  </p>
<p>I have had to specifically train them to &#8220;wait your turn over there&#8221; &#8211; I pay the waiting dog almost treat-for-treat as the dog getting dremeled. &#x1f923;</p>

One other idea he could do easily from a wheelchair is flirt-pole play. I&#8217;d recommend working with one pup at a time, then getting a &#8220;default&#8221; down first, then adding the flirt pole in. <p>In my experience, dogs who grow up around adaptive devices like wheelchairs or walkers tend to take it all in stride without needing any special training. To them, it is simply part of their person’s everyday life, and they adapt naturally.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi Patrick. That&#8217;s not an uncommon position for some dogs, but it would be wrong to assume 1) anything is wrong or 2) everything is okay. My best suggestion is to have a qualified veterinarian assess the dog&#8217;s gait, laxity and check for pain. x-rays can give more information as well. Good luck and paws crossed all is well! </p>
